Uz balzame, kupke, eterična ulja, kreme i ostale divote za njegu tijela i lica, Aromatica ima i začine koje rado koristim kod spremanja jela s domaćim kefirom.

Jadranski začin

Mješavina pomno odabranih mirodija jadranskog priobalja upotpuniti će vaš užitak u svim jelima mesa i ribe - mažuran, ružmarin, majčina dušica i borovica.

Mažuran je osvježavajućeg, slatkastog te pomalo ljutkastog mirisa i arome. Grci i Rimljani uplitali su cvjetove mažurana u vijence mladencima i kupali se u aromatičnim vodama kako bi im donio mir.

Ružmarin ima intenzivan, pomalo uljasti miris i aromu. Upotrebljavaju se listići i mekane grančice. Tvrđe grančice možete koristiti kao mirisne štapiće za povrtne ražnjiće.

Majčina dušica ljekovita je samonikla biljka koja se od davnina koristila za različite zdravstvene probleme. Kao začin jelima daje poseban okus i miris.

Borovica je zimzelena biljka. Krase ju sitni, igličasti listovi i privlačni plavi, mesnati plodovi koji sa zrenjem poprimaju ljubičastu boju. Plodovi borovice (bobice), koriste se u obliku sokova, čajeva, tinktura, a bobice možete i konzumirati, dok su svježe. Iglice borovice, svježe ili osušene, dodaju se raznim čajevima.


Veronikina tajna

Slatko pikantna mješavina kima, koromača i anisa začina dati će neodoljiv okus kruhu i pecivu.

Kim ima jak miris od esencijalnih ulja koja sadrži u sebi. Uglavnom se koristi kao začin za kruh, pretežno raženi, ali i druga peciva. Dodaje se kao začin povrću, mahunarkama, žitaricama, salatama, ali i slatkim jelima.

Koromač se najviše koristi u začinske svrhe zbog ugodnog slatkastog okusa. Može se koristiti sam ili češće u mješavini začina. Sjemenke koromača se koriste kao začin u različitim slatkim i slanim jelima, a često se koristi za aromatiziranje likera, biljnih rakija i aperitiva.

Anis je poznat po svojim aromatičnim začinskim i ljekovitim svojstvima. Rimljani su često njime začinjavali kolače da bi izbjegli tromost crijeva i smetnje probave. To mu je priskrbilo naziv Solamen intestinorum - "tješitelj crijeva".

Miris im je topao, opor i aromatičan, a okus slatkasto-trpak i vrlo jak, zbog čega je danas klinčić jedan od najslavnijih začina na svijetu i ima uistinu široku upotrebu. U naše krajeve davno su ga donijeli pomorci sa svojih putovanja.   


Začin cimet

Cimet se koristi od davnina kao začinska i ljekovita biljka. Njegova svojstva pomažu kod napetosti te djeluje protuupalno. Jako je važno razlikovati pravi, cejlonski cimet od onog kineskog jer samo prvi ima iznimna ljekovita svojstva. Taj se ljekoviti cimet dobiva iz stabla vrste Cinnamomum verum (ili Cinnamomum zeylanicum), a stiže nam iz Šri Lanke (nekadašnji Cejlon).

It is very important that we differentiate Ceylon cinnamon from Chinese one, since only the Ceylon cinnamon has exceptional healing properties. This cinnamon is obtained from the trees Cinnamomum verum (or Cinnamomum zeylanicum) and comes from Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon).
