Pileća prsa u marinadi od domaćeg kefira - Homemade kefir marinated chicken breasts


Domaći kefir je odličan za mariniranje piletine. Kiselkasta priroda kefira čini pileća prsa posebno mekanima i omogućuje upijanje okusa marinade u samo meso.

Ovaj put sam marinirala pileća prsa u kefiru i garam masala mješavini indijskih začina te pustite da odstoji preko noći.

Prije pečenja, sa mesa uklonite većinu marinade i pecite na tavi ili u pećnici. Ja sam piletinu pekla na tavi, narezala na manje komade i dodala u zelenu salatu uz glazirane dunje (u maslacu od kikirikija i garam masala začinima) te poslužila uz pečeni slatki krumpir. Homemade kefir marinated chicken breasts

Homemade kefir is a fantastic marinade for chicken. The acidic nature of kefir makes it the perfect tenderizer, especially for chicken breasts.  Kefir also has a way of really soaking the flavors of a marinade into meat.

For this kefirolicious marinade you will need:

  • 1 chicken breast

  • 250 ml of homemade kefir

  • teaspoon of garam masala Indian spices

Cut the breasts into strips and add it into kefir marinade. Marinate at least 3 hours, but preferably overnight. Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake most of the marinade off. Lightly coat the chicken with oil, then season the chicken with salt and pepper. Grill the chicken over medium-high heat or roast it in an oven. Serve with salad (lettuce and glazed quince in garam masala and peanut butter) and sweet potato.
