Summer is an ice cream bowl

If you are not near the sea, cold shower and a delicious ice-cream will bring to you all-you-need refreshment. I’m opening a blog summer season with a tasty nicecream made from frozen fruits and cheese from homemade kefir. How I made this deliciousness? Just keep on reading:)

Ingredients and preparation steps

  • 1 banana
  • 2 nectarines
  • 5 dates
  • 150 g homemade kefir cream cheese
  • pinch of fresh ginger

Cut bananas and nectarines into smaller pieces and leave them in the freezer overnight. Soak in the water pitted dates, also overnight.

Blend frozen fruits, dates, ginger and cream cheese in a blender until creamy. Serve immediately and enjoy the flavors. I covered ice cream with edible flowers from Green friends. The flowers are little savory and go great with this ice cream. You can definitely top ice-cream with anything you like – melted chocolate, ground nuts or something else.
